Unexplained Mysteries *Everything from bigfoot to aliens to ghosts!* Science helps us explain the phenomena of the natural world around us. We have come a long way the last 100 years. We now have a much better understanding of what is happening inside an atom, how tectonic plates are slowly moving, and where our planet fits in within the universe. However, there is still a lot we have yet to understand. Scientists continue to make amazing discoveries, butt is often said we currently know more about the objects in our solar system than we do about the bottom of our own oceans. As for the following topics, I am not saying they are real or not. I ask that you approach each with a scientific mind and decide for yourself what you believe to be true or not. Cryptozoology (Study of hidden animals) Even if you don't believe in the Loch Ness Monster, there have been many hidden animals that were thought to be mythical but turned out to be very real. Some examples include giant squid and coelacanths. Also, many "cryptids" are normal animals that are thought to live outside of their normal range.
